On May 14, 2016, Sovereign Grace Family Church is hosting a benefit festival to help support the Medders family. Several weeks ago, Mariah Medders, a young girl who had been attending our church, was diagnosed with a tumor in her brainstem. She is the only child to her parents, Kevin and Brenda. Our desire as a church has been to partner with the Medders family in prayer and to help provide support for them as they go through this difficult time together. We want to show the love of Christ to them. In our attempt to do this, we have decided to host this festival to raise funds for their family so that their financial needs will be met as they are faced with inevitable time away from work and with upcoming medical expenses.
